Dr. Lauren Benoit – Audiologist Profile

Meet Dr. Benoit! 

Hello! I am Dr. Lauren Benoit. I was born and raised in Connecticut where the majority of my family still resides, including my older brother, Greg. Though extremely close with my family, I much prefer the warmer weather and decided to call Florida my home where my parents now live part-time. Thankfully, I have other familial connections in the Tampa Bay area as well! My mother is a retired Speech Language Pathologist and was in the field for over 30 years. Growing up, she taught me basic sign language which introduced me to the world of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. To no surprise, I ended up in the field of Audiology that I love to this day. After spending my externship year here at Gardner Audiology, I knew I found my home and have been here since. My primary interest is in hearing aid amplification and can work with patients both in-person and through remote services from office to office. In my spare time, I enjoy playing board/card games with my family, finding my way out of Escape Rooms, and cuddling with my cat Enzo.
