When shopping for hearing aids, cost is often a significant factor to consider. According to ConsumerAffairs, the national average cost of hearing aids ranges from $1000 – $4000 per device. However, when comparing cost, it is also important to consider the included value such as included services, technology level, and provider accessibility.
At Gardner Audiology in Citrus Park Tampa, you have the option to include a service package within the cost of hearing aids. If you opt out of an included service package, the cost of hearing aids will be discounted. Additionally, the cost differs based on the level of technology, which ranges from entry-level to premium-level hearing aids. Our Gardner Doctors will work with you to provide options that fit both your lifestyle and your budget.
With accessibility to a Gardner provider, the value of hearing aids increases as they are programmed by a trained professional. For Over-The-Counter (OTC) hearing aids, cost often seems to be lower than professionally fit devices, a common misconception. However, with the seemingly lower cost of OTC hearing aids, services, proper functionality, and successful long term outcomes are compromised, minimizing its value. Looking for a more budget-friendly option? Gardner Audiology provides national brands as low as $490 per device without compromising its value.
