Signia is a part of the WS Audiology group, based in Denmark, that merged Signia and Widex in 2019. Signia was originally Siemens, who released their first hearing aid in 1951. In 2015 Siemens Hearing Instruments, was acquired by a private consortium named Sivantos. The hearing aids were rebranded as Signia.
