The Zephyrhills office of Gardner Audiology repairs, services, and sells Phonak hearing aids. We have many replacement parts for all Phonak hearing aid models in all 8 of our locations. Having your hearing aids serviced twice a year helps keep them in good working order.
When we service hearing aids, we replace any part that is replaceable, such as domes and wax filters. We suction out the microphone openings. If your hearing aids take replaceable batteries, we clean the contacts and the opening where the battery goes. Rechargeable hearing aids have the contacts cleaned. We run them in a dehumidifier that helps to dry and reset the diaphragms in the microphones and the receiver. Some of our locations also have Redux, which is a machine that draws water out of your hearing aids. We live in a swamp and moisture is a constant battle in Florida! We keep spare receivers in the office in case yours goes bad. This enables us to repair your hearing aid on the spot. When all else fails and we cannot repair your hearing aid in our office, we can facilitate sending it to the manufacturer for repair.
