Phonak hearing aids continue to be one of the best rated hearing aids per Consumer Reports. Our providers in Crystal River, Dunnellon and Inverness are experts in fitting Phonak hearing aids and are here to help you with their latest offering, Lumity.
Lumity, launched in 2022, is described as delivering “speech enhancement and directional microphone features that aim to deliver better speech clarity—especially in background noise.” Since that initial launch, Lumity offerings have expanded and are now available for those with more severe to profound losses with the Naida, a more cosmetically pleasing look and feel with the Slim, a pediatric line with the Sky and a waterproof/sweatproof offering with the Life. All Phonak Lumity offerings are rechargeable.
Phonak hearing aids offer “made for all” Bluetooth compatibility meaning their hearing aids are compatible with Apple and Android phones. Phonak is known as one of the best offerings for Android phone users because of its “made for all” Bluetooth connectivity. Of the six major hearing aid manufacturers, Phonak hearing aids will connect with almost all Android phones.
Phonak’s smartphone app is very user friendly and offers the individual options to click on links for how to videos, frequently asked questions as well as keeping the user guide at your fingertips. And most importantly, allowing the user to control and adjust their hearing aids!
