Yes, you can have a pimple in your ear. Sometimes they occur in the bowl of the outer ear, the concha. They can occur on the rim of your ear, the pinna. And they can occur in the ear canal itself.
Pimples are typically caused by clogged pores or excess oil. They can also occur from irritation from using earbuds. They can even be caused by bacteria. Trying to pop a pimple can lead to more irritation and inflammation and can even lead to bacteria spread.
If the pimple is in an accessible area, you could try a warm compress. If the pimple persists, you should see your physician. You may be prescribed a topical medication or antibiotics. Another reason to have it evaluated if it persists is that it could be more than just a pimple. I had a patient with a small white persistent bump in her ear canal that wound up being cancerous. Best to have it looked at if it does not go away.
