Many Aetna Medicare Advantage plans include a per-ear allowance for hearing aids that can cover a pair of hearing aids with little to no out of pocket cost. If you’re interested in more advanced technology, there are also upgrade options available, such as rechargeable hearing aids or models designed to perform better in noisy environments.
Aetna commercial plans (often through your employer) differ in benefits depending on many factors, however many commercial Aetna plans have fully funded benefits for hearing devices once your deductible is met for the year.
Some Aetna plans, both Medicare Advantage or commercial, offer a ‘discount’ for hearing aids. Because each policy is different, exact coverage is verified once an appointment is made with our office.
