Coverage through Cigna can vary widely, depending on your specific policy. Some plans may offer hearing aids covered in full, called a “funded benefit”.Others require a portion to be paid by the patient, and some have a “discount” towards the purchase of hearing aids. Employer sponsored or union health plans sometimes include hearing aid benefits and may even offer full coverage.
Beginning in 2026, some Cigna plans, including Medicare Advantage, utilize a third-party administrator called Start Hearing. This is a new plan and Gardner Audiology providers are all in-network in all 8 of our convenient Tampa Bay locations.
