If your Phonak hearing aids aren’t working as well as they should, the team at Gardner Audiology is ready to assist. We provide expert cleaning, servicing, and repair for Phonak devices at our Palm Harbor office, along with multiple additional locations across the Tampa Bay region.
As hearing aids age, it’s common for their performance to decline due to everyday wear and environmental factors. Issues such as earwax blocking the filters, frayed or broken receiver wires, build-up from hair or skin products in the microphone ports, and internal moisture can all interfere with sound clarity. Although Phonak devices are designed with moisture resistance in mind, Florida’s high humidity can still affect their reliability over time.
A key benefit of Phonak hearing aids is their advanced internal diagnostics, which allow our hearing care professions to run system checks directly on the device. This technology helps us quickly detect and address performance concerns with greater precision.
In many cases, problems can be resolved during a standard office visit with a detailed cleaning and evaluation. If more extensive repairs are needed, we will adjust whether the device should be sent to the manufacturer. Before proceeding, we will review your warranty coverage and provide a clear estimate for any repair services.
