MG had been wearing mid-level receiver in the canal hearing aids for 4 plus years, and had been fairly happy with the aids. He came in to the Zephyrhills office of Gardner Audiology in February after losing the aids on a cruise. He opted to trial a set of Starkey X110 RIC hearing aids, because he still occasionally struggles in noisy environments. These new Starkey hearing aid models have more advanced technology that his old aids.
After trying the new hearing aids for a few weeks, MG decided to purchase the aids. He told me that voices were much crisper and clearer with these aids and he was understanding conversation in restaurants and other noisy settings.
MG joked that he was happy he lost his old hearing aids because he is hearing so much better with his new ones!!
