Some plans offer discounted pricing and others include a true benefit amount to use toward the purchase of hearing aids. The amount of your benefit and/or discount will depend on the plan that covers you. Health insurance through an employer or union may have a benefit, sometimes up to full coverage of hearing aids. Other plans offer an average maximum benefit of $1000 to $2000.
