Ninety year old Gardner Audiology patient tunes into brunch in St. Petersburg

I had the privilege of joining a special lady approaching her ninetieth birthday for brunch! She is an acquaintance of mine who has had obvious hearing problems. She was recently fitted at Gardner Audiology with Starkey X Series 110 in-the-ear hearing aids after losing one of her mail order hearing aids. Brunch was shared by her family and me in a very noisy restaurant. I was sat at the opposite side of the table from her. I immediately noticed she was following conversations and could hear me, even from across the table, a big change from previous gatherings. As we were leaving, she pulled me to the side to tell me how much of a difference her new hearing aids are compared to the ones she lost. She is able to hear her friends and family better, and feels more included. Her family is happy, I am happy, but most importantly, she is happy!
