Tampa Cigna Hearing Aid provider Gardner Audiology

Gardner Audiology is pleased to announce our newest location in south Tampa. Gardner Audiology doctors are Cigna providers. We look forward to providing hearing services to the Cigna Health Insurance community. If your physician orders a diagnostic hearing evaluation, Cigna typically covers the test. Some Cigna Health Insurance plans include coverage for hearing aids, while others do not have hearing aid benefits. To determine if your plan offers hearing aid coverage, verification of benefits is essential. The only way to be certain is to contact Cigna directly.

Not long ago, Cigna Health Insurance began contracting with a third party company to manage their hearing aid benefits. Gardner Audiology doctors are also providers with this third party. If someone files a claim directly to Cigna Health Insurance for the hearing aid benefit, the claim would be denied. It is important to work with an office that knows your insurance requirements in order to assure your claim will be handled properly. Knowing your benefits, including coverage, deductible, copayment, and proper steps in filing the claim is an absolute necessity to maximize your benefit. The experienced staff at Gardner Audiology knows the proper pathway to achieve this. We are more than happy to provide guidance.

Insurance can be intimidating to navigate. The staff at Gardner Audiology is here to help. Call at 1-800-277-1182 and let us help you determine if you have hearing aid benefits.
