In these unprecedented, yet busy times, it is not always easy to get yourself to the doctor’s office for a hearing aid appointment. Well Starkey, one of the six major hearing aid manufacturers, has a solution for you! And it’s called Hearing Care Anywhere.
Anywhere? Yes, anywhere! …so long as you have access to wifi and a smartphone/tablet that is compatible with your hearing aids. Through the Starkey Thrive app, we can activate remote programming for you! It is easy and simple to do.
If you feel that you need an adjustment to your hearing aids, go into your phones’s Thrive app and where it says Hearing Care Anywhere, you can submit a request to your audiologist for an adjustment.. Just describe what is happening and share specifics about your request. The audiologist will receive a request on their end, and can then go into your programmed settings and remotely make any necessary adjustments. You can either accept the changes, or revert back to previous settings if you aren’t satisfied with the changes.
This service is offered for all levels of the Starkey Livio hearing aids. If you are interested in activating this remote programming option, let the audiologist know at the time of your fitting or next scheduled appointment.
