Starkey Livio Edge Artificial Intelligence Hearing Aids in South Pasadena, FL

Gardner Audiology in South Pasadena/St Petersburg are experts in the new Starkey Livio Edge. Starkey is one of the top hearing aid manufacturers in the world.  They recently patented a new model of hearing aid that has artificial intelligence (AI), called the Livio Edge AI. These are top of the line hearing aids with the most advanced technology you can get. They have an incredible sound quality and a few added features that are specific to the Edge AI.

The Edge AI has aggressive noise management for difficult listening environments with a lot of background noise – places like restaurants, stores, and group situations. It even has an additional setting, called Edge Mode, that enables even more noise management for the most challenging of listening environments. A quick double tap on the ear turns on this feature and you’re good to go! Patients who have been wearing these hearing aids say that the sound quality is so natural, that if you didn’t know any better, you’d think they weren’t turned on!

The Edge AI offers connectivity to both iPhone and Android smartphones. The hearing aids can connect to an app that can act as a remote control for volume and programs, as well as a few special features. For one, it has language translation. Starkey paired up with Google to allow for translation of 27 different languages. Once language translation is turned on, and the spoken language is chosen, the hearing aids listen, and translate it to the desired language in writing on the app. These hearing aids also offer fall detection, fitness tracking, and music enhancement!
