I recently had a gentleman come into the Zephyrhills office of Gardner Audiology with mild to moderate hearing loss and constant tinnitus in his right ear. The hearing in his left ear was normal. He was struggling to understand his wife and at work and the tinnitus was very distracting.
Tinnitus is noise that is inside the ear or the head. Some people describe it as a ringing, buzzing, humming, or static noise. Bluetooth connectivity is not for everyone, and you can successfully wear hearing aids without connecting to a cell phone.
