Patient Locates Lost Hearing Aids Using “Find My Hearing Aids” Feature in Starkey Thrive App

In this COVID world, it is very important to be careful when removing your mask while wearing hearing aids. It is very easy to have your hearing aids fall out while taking your mask off, and a few patients have even lost them because of it. One of our patients, MK, recently had this happen to her.

MK works as a nurse in a hospital, and relies on her hearing aids to be able to hear and understand the patients she cares for. When she lost her hearing aids, she was in a panic. Well, MK remembered that her Starkey hearing aids connect to an app on her phone, and that there is a “Find My Hearing Aids” feature. MK was able to locate her hearing aids! She was thrilled, not only would she be able to continue helping her patients, but she does not have to worry about replacing her hearing aids.

MK, along with some other patients, have been very happy with the quality of their Starkey hearing aids, especially since they have the ability to locate where they were last connected to her phone. If you are interested in more information or consulting with an audiologist, please contact Gardner Audiology at 1-800-277-1182 or email info@gardneraudiology.com.
