Earlier this week the Hearing Loss Association of America Florida posted a couple articles by Debbe Hagner, a Cochlear Implant Recipient on her personal experiences since receiving her implant. They recently posted her third article in which she describes another personal experience she has had since receiving her Cochlear Implant. Below is an excerpt from this article.
“At the Post Office. I now hear the music in the background. I asked the postmaster, “Did you always play music?” He said, “Yes.” The music was soft and he was surprised that I could hear it, even though I did not understand the lyrics however I’ve been told that even normal hearing people can’t always make out lyrics!”
