HR came to the Gardner Audiology Inverness office for one of his bi annual checks of his one year old Starkey X110 hearing aid. He is currently wearing one hearing aid. HR said there were certain situations where his hearing aid was unsatisfactory. He was having a hard time with hearing conversation. He decided to try new hearing aid technology. HR was skeptical on trying aids in both ears but I told him our research study would be a perfect opportunity for him to try it. Gardner Audiology offered him a trade in on old aid since it was only a year old.
We saw him for his follow ups and, every week he was very pleased with his improved hearing from both ears. He said he that he was hearing so many different things. He is very thankful to be able to try the new technology and is currently very pleased with his decision to hear from both ears!
