Gardner Audiology Solved Hearing Aid Problems in Crystal River Florida

M.S. was seen in the Crystal River office for a hearing evaluation. She was accompanied by her son-in-law. M.S. has worn a behind-the-ear hearing (BTE) aid in the right ear for many years, however, it was currently being held together by a rubber band.

M.S. wanted to try the Receiver-In-The-Canal (RIC) hearing aid was thus fit with a Starkey Ignite 20 the following week. She was so happy when she left and was hearing in her own words “so much better”.

At follow-up, it was noted that M.S was having difficulties getting the hearing aid onto her ear. We practiced in office and she wanted to try one more week.

At her next follow-up, M.S. presented with frustration. We agreed to move her to the Starkey Ignite 20 BTE and an earmold impressions were taken.

M.S. was fit with her Starkey Ignite 20 BTE hearing aid two weeks later with custom made earmolds. They solved her problem and made it much easier to insert the hearing aids. She was thrilled to be hearing again and was so happy we were able to find a solution that worked for her.
