Dunnellon, Florida, Hearing Doctor offers Signia Hearing Aid Mask Mode

Do you have trouble understanding people with a mask on? Have you heard of the Signia app’s new Mask Mode feature?  Dr. Angela Schenk, a Dunnellon Audiologist, is an authorized Signia Hearing aid provider. She is knowledgeable about the new Signia mask mode.

COVID-19 has changed a lot of our life aspects, especially wearing a mask. Whether you have a hearing impairment or not it’s often difficult to understand the speech of someone wearing a mask. That is about to change for Signia’s hearing aid users because Signia released a new feature called Mask Mode. This enables hearing aid users to understand people wearing masks. The hearing aids will adjust themselves to target speech parameters and lower background noise aggressively. The mask mode feature will be available throughout the pandemic.

The new Mask Mode button is available for specific Signia hearing aids*: Styletto X, Pure Charge&Go, and Pure 312 X. Make sure your phone runs the latest operating system: iPhone: iOS 11 or later and Android 6.0 or later.
