Baycare Medical Group offers a Baycare Medicare Advantage plan that includes hearing aid benefits! Did you know that? Many insurance plans are contracting through third-party companies to give members access to hearing aid benefits. Well, BayCare Medicare Advantage plans are no different! In 2021, BayCare Medicare Advantage plans are including hearing aid benefits through a company called TruHearing.
Specifically, BayCare Medicare Advantage plans use the “TruHearing Select” plan. With this plan, members are offered just a few types of hearing aids, but they are greatly discounted! These hearing aids are comparable to devices from major manufacturers, and cost just a fraction of the price. TruHearing also includes a few additional perks! The “biggies” include a standard 3-year warranty and a 45-day trial period. TruHearing will cover the copay for a few additional follow up visits, and then the patient is responsible for the copay. But don’t worry, TruHearing’s contract with providers states that there will never be a copay higher than $65 for a visit! With all that TruHearing has to offer, this hearing aid benefit is not something you want to pass up on!
